more info.Visit embassies for FREE with Washington, DC History & Culture as we once again participate in the “European Union (Embassies) Open House.” This is one of our favorite and most popular events of the year.

How does it work? We meet as a group at a central point such as a Metro station, and then spend a fun-filled day visiting several different embassies. Along the way you’ll meet interesting people and soak up the sights, sounds and tastes from a variety of European cultures.

For now, this is a “save the date” type announcement and we will provide more specific details as we get closer to the event date. The “European Union Open House” is organized by our friends at “Cultural Tourism DC” (web link below).

EU Open House:

On the second Saturday in May the European Union Embassies and the EU Delegation to the United States will open their doors to the public for the annual EU Embassies’ Open House: a day of family fun, food, culture and more.

Please note, the non-European Union Embassy Open House event is Saturday, May 5. Information on that event will be posted separately at a later date.

Meeting Point: TBD approximately 7 days beforehand, at which time that info will be posted. In the past we’ve met at the Dupont Circe or some other Washington, DC Metro station.
